END THAT SIN STRUGGLE NOW. READ THIS! (1)

For you to even read this, the Lord has started something very amazing in your life.  I can’t fully explain everything in this one post, so you will have to follow our updates to get the full pack (1-3). I’m just excited to share this with you. I want you to open your hearts to receive these amazing truths that are being revealed through The Word of God.
Many of us don’t know the difference between a sinner and a born-again believer who sinned. You are not a sinner because you do wrong things. No! That doesn’t make you a sinner. Sin is a nature, not an act. The act is just a product of the nature. Make sure you get this. You and I were sinners not because of what we did. Romans 5:19 says “Just as through the disobedience of one man, the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man, many will be made righteous.” Because of Adam’s decision, his seed were made sinners. It has nothing to do with whether you are moral or not. But Glory to God, the same verse says by one man’s obedience, many will be made righteous. When you were born, you were born into sin (psalm 51:5). It’s your nature. Once you receive Christ, you are a not the same person. You didn’t change, a new person that has never been in existence manifested, this is to tell you that you are not who you see in the physical mirror.  You are a spirit. Your spirit controls your mind and your mind is in charge of your body (proverbs 23:7; for as a man thinks in his heart so is he), good! Let’s go on. When you are born in Christ, you cannot have the nature of sin, it’s not possible. Look! ‘IN CHRIST’. There is no sin in Christ. This is amazing. Once you’re born in God you have ZOE (LIFE)! Whenever I think of this, I get emotional. What kind of love is this that the Father has showed us that we may be called THE SONS OF GOD?
You now have ANOTHER NATURE and that is the nature of righteousness. Paul addressed this in Romans 8:1(Now, there is no condemnation for they that are in Christ).it says there is no condemnation NOW! Not in heaven, now! To those who ae in Christ Jesus. For God to condemn you, He must condemn Jesus because you are in Him. God Never condemns you once you are in Christ. Does that mean you are free to sin? No! If you think like that, it is tangible evidence that you are not born again. Paul said there is no condemnation to them who are in Christ, who walk not after the flesh but walk after the spirit.
I wouldn’t tell you to roar like a lion or bark like a dog, why? Because it is not your nature, rather I’d tell you to talk, walk, think or sing because you can. God can never tell you to walk in righteousness if you are a sinner. He tells you to walk in righteousness because you are righteous. So if you are born again, trust me, you do not feel comfortable with sin because it is not who you are, it isn’t your nature. That is why you cry when you do wrong. Sinners don’t feel they have done anything wrong. I am not saying you should cry. In fact, I am saying you should stop crying. God had already forgiven you before you committed that sin. That is why in Hebrews 4:16, He said we should RECEIVE our forgiveness not BEG for it! So now our confession should be, “Father, I acknowledge what I just did is wrong and is not a part of me. I’m sorry and I receive my forgiveness in The name of Jesus.” Glory b to God. We are not slaves of sin! We re righteous. And as we get enlightened, we will see how to walk in the light of this revelation and kill the mentality of sin having dominion over us.

KILL SELF-PITY

Self-pity not only slows one down. It is destructive too! The devil uses it many times. The devil is a loser. A big one. He knows he can do nothing about it so he tries to make you ignorant of the winner you are and the loser he is. Self-pity is one of those fiery darts of the devil. Refuse to be trapped in self-pity. Self-pity is not simple. It’s complicated to the core!! Highly complicated! It can twist your life and get you entangled to the point you give up. He uses this mostly on leaders. You may find yourself in a very depressing situation; or you may make a silly mistake. Okay, imagine, if Pastor Benny Hinn’s daughter was deaf and dumb or if Pastor Chris’ son was blind.  You know what that looks like. These men have been used to liberate millions of oppressed folks. They could choose to die in self-pity saying stuff like “God, you called me and this is what I get for obeying you, I can’t do this anymore!” Or, they could choose to stick to the word. And trust me, if you stick to the word you will come back with a testimony.

Self-pity makes you think God has not forgiven you and can never forgive you. Snap out of it! He died for your sins, right? When He died, were you born? Think about it, He died for the sins you were to commit. Your future sins were nailed to the cross. Glory to God. We are the light of the world; we can’t illuminate the world when we still find comfort in the boulevards of self-defeatism.

You may be going through an ugly situation now. You can easily go about lamenting about the better life you are supposed to have and feeling sorry for yourself. Or, you can stick to The Word. See, self-pity will only leave you depressed and hopeless while The Word will not only make you happy but will ultimately bring a solution to your problem.

UNDERSTANDING TRUE LOVE

At a point in my walk with God, I was totally confused on what this subject was all about. Totally confused! I just knew that my heart was not programmed for hate! Ha-ha. I hated hate but when a true test of love showed up many times I failed. I did not want to condemn people, but I found myself condemning people, I just found out that Paul in the bible experienced something similar. He said that he found himself doing things he did not want to do. Trust me, I wanted to love everybody {because it is the nature of the new creature to love} but I could not do what I did not understand. When I say love I mean loving with all sincerity. Not some sincerity, all sincerity! I mean wanting the best for someone no matter what the person does. I want to love even when people hate me.

 I wanted to love sincerely. Though I did not retaliate; I did not love, I endured. One day I decided to research on this four letter word. God lead me to his word John16:12. He did not just lead me, He opened my heart to understand. As I read it, I was like “What!?” Love men how Christ loved us? The first question of course is, how did Christ love us? When we didn’t deserve it, when we were out rightly mess, when we hated, persecuted and rejected him, He loved us and gave His life for us. It sounded crazy to me until I was reminded by the spirit that God is love. So if you don’t know love, don’t claim to know God.

After this, I decide to stick to love completely, no matter what! I didn’t sign up for a struggle; I just realised it is now my nature to love and I will stick to it. It is your nature too, that is why you are not comfortable with hate. We shouldn’t bother ourselves with whether people would like us if we act in certain ways, Don’t let your amazing self be downcast due to someone’s attitude towards you. Our only duty should be to keep loving. That’s what makes us supernatural beings. Love is a supernatural ability! Humans can’t love. It’s not their nature! It’s the nature of the born again to love. I remember talking to a friend and I asked, “Hey, do you believe in love?” She said ‘love? Hah, I asked God to kill that part of me a long time ago and woo! He did!’ what!? You asked God? God? That’s not God. God never heard that prayer. He can’t answer what he didn’t hear. The devil was quick to show you the way and give you abundance of hate. The enemy can’t stand love, it paralyses him. God is love and if you have his life in you, you must walk and live in love. So you might ask for a thorough definition of love. This is it, LOVE IS A SUPERNATURAL ABILITY, A MIRACLE OF ITS OWN, A SUPERNATURAL ABILITY THAT INFLUENCES YOUR ENTIRE PERSONALITY IN SUCH AN OVERWHELMING WAT THAT A PERSON DOES NOT FOCUS ON THE WRONGS AND FLAWS OF ANOTHER PERSON, but RATHER HE SEES THE BETTER PERSON IN THAT INDIVIDUAL.

DEFINE YOURSELF, BUILD YOUR CHARACTER!

 

Your character is not your attitude. Your attitude is what you exhibit as a result of the content of your character. Your character is what defines you. It’s what makes you a great person. This reminds me of a particular time in school when I was seen as a villain solely because of the message I preached. I didn’t give in. why should I be worried or depressed because of what people say about me. Your character is seen when times aren’t so pleasant. When people say crap about you, how do you respond? My response is to keep praying for them and declaring the word of God. I stick to the word! Nothing can ever stop me because my character is always solid.

I laugh when people say things like ‘my personality is who I am but my attitude depends on who you are.’ To an ignorant fellow, that might be an amazing quote. But that doesn’t even make sense. If your attitude depends on someone else actions, you have no character! You are a machine! You have a controller. Someone can make you do nasty things just by uttering some words. A great man once said, “I am not moved by what I see, I am not moved by what I feel, I am moved by what I believe!” I agree with him. This is why you should not build your life on mere quotes. Build your life on the word of God. Trust me, nothing else gives you accurate principles for the best life ever.

WHO ARE YOU BY OKAFOR VICTOR

I am sure you have heard the sentence ‘Be yourself’ countless times, tried to be yourself yet it didn’t really seem like it made a difference in your life. Right? The reason that happens is very simple: you can never become what you don’t know. That is the problem. Many of us don’t know who we really are and that’s why we keep being motivated for 5 seconds whenever we hear ‘Be yourself’ and later go back to the same old story. We have to be ourselves, but I think we should know who we are so as to become the best we could ever be. You must be asking yourself, “Ok now, I get but who am I? How would I know who I am? I’ll help you with that. I’ll tell you exactly who you are. You are the best gift to the world. There never was and never will be anybody like you. You are, a chosen race, a peculiar person, a royal priesthood [1 peter 2:9]. You see, your market value is the SON OF GOD. He died for you! If you were the only one on earth, he still would have died for you. If you are an addict and you are ashamed of that kind of life, then some motivational speaker comes and tells you to be yourself. Don’t kill your life by misunderstanding him/her. You could start thinking “well, why should I be uncomfortable with the addiction? That’s just me. I am me! Let me be myself!” that’s a big lie from the devil! You are NOT an addict. When I tell an addict ‘Be yourself’, I’m not talking about your addicted self, I’m talking about you realizing the amazing person God has made you and live according to that realization!
